As BRIDGE administrator, you can import users (Administrator, Group manager or Location manager).
Users can be imported in 4 steps :
1. Download import template
2. Prepare your import file
3. Upload your file
4. Preview and start the import
1. Download import template
- In the "Users" tab in the left side menu, click on "Import users"
- Then click on "Download import template" link
2. Prepare your import file
Your import file must respect this file structure :
First name : user first name
Last name : user last name
Email : user email
Role : user role with these 2 possible values :
- client_manager : for "administrator" user
- scoped_manager : for "group manager" user
- standard : for "location manager" user
CustomID : custom identifier of the location of the "location manager" user
BridgeID : BRIDGE identifier of the location of the "location manager" user
IMPORTANT :
- You must respect the structure of the import file : column name and column order
- You must set at least one of the two identifiers (CustomID and/or BridgeID) to attribute the right location to the location manager user. Please make sure to keep both columns in your file although they may be empty.
- You don't need to set an identifier for administrator user because this user will have access to all locations
- Importing "Group manager" users is possible without location or with a single location. After import, you can add all the locations of the group manager by editing his profile.
3. Upload your file
- In the "Users" tab in the left side menu, click on "Import users"
- Then click on "Pick a file on my computer" button
4. Preview and start the import
-
Preview the impact of your import on your existing BRIDGE users to see which users will be created, modified, unchanged or rejected.
-
If the impact of the import on your users seems correct, launch it by clicking on the "Apply changes" button.
NB : Users will not receive email after the creation of their BRIDGE account. To send an invitation email to your users, go to the following article : Reset a user’s Back Office access
