The “Data Protection” page must assemble all the information on the protection of personal data as related to the processing of prospects’ personal data on your Store Locator and the BRIDGE platform.
The page must be accessible from the footer of your Store Locator. It can be an internal page on the Store Locator or an external page hosted on your website.
It must include the following information in particular:
- The identity of the data controller
- information on the personal data processing that is implemented (data collected, who the data is sent to, purposes of the processing, how long data is kept, etc.).
- The rights of the prospects whose data is processed (right of opposition, access, rectification, removal, minimisation, modification, etc) and the postal and email addresses prospects can write to in order to exercise these rights.
You can contact the Support team to find a standard document on the Personal Data Protection Policy that you can put on line on your Store Locator. If you do this, you will first have to adapt it and fill in the specificities of your Store Locator and the processing you implement on it and the BRIDGE platform.
If you want to set up a “Data Protection” page on your Store Locator, contact the Support team
